Visual brand foundation for a leading cybersecurity platform

Checkmarx is a global cybersecurity company with a robust platform and a growing base of enterprise clients. But visually, the brand didn’t reflect its scale, reliability, or technological leadership. The design system was outdated, heavily dependent on stock imagery, and lacked a distinctive point of view.

There was no clear structure across products, and the overall look and feel felt disconnected from the company’s positioning. The color palette offered little depth, and the materials lacked the presence and weight of a leading enterprise solution. As the company evolved, so did the need for a brand that could speak to who Checkmarx truly is: trusted, established, and built for what’s next.

The visual concept was built around modular “building blocks” — a system inspired by the architecture of the Checkmarx platform itself. These graphic forms became more than just shapes – they allowed the brand to tell a layered story: one of control, precision, and scale. The system was flexible enough to support both rich, complex compositions and minimal, focused layouts—giving the brand the ability to shift tone while staying consistent.

Color, motion, and structure were used to distinguish between product areas and levels of communication—from strategic messaging to technical deep-dives. Every element in the system was designed to carry meaning, not decoration.

The new identity launched with a completely redesigned corporate website, and expanded into every layer of brand communication: high-level campaigns, in-the-field collateral, sales materials, product decks, event branding, and partner-facing assets. Internally, it shaped how teams communicate, from executive messaging to onboarding tools—supported by custom templates and brand kits.

The system shaped a brand presence that now extends across every touchpoint, with a consistent voice and a clear point of view.
